 P&O Nedlloyd Container Line Limited was formed in December 1996, as a 50:50 joint venture between P&O and Royal Nedlloyd, representing the liner shipping interests of the two companies. It is the second largest container carrier in the world, with routes connecting all parts of the globe and a yearly turnover of around US$4.5 billion.
The Company has over 70 established trade lanes and provides connections to more than 250 main ports serving 120 countries worldwide. Its modern fleet numbers 146 owned and chartered vessels, and the company has a container fleet of some 700,000 owned and leased TEUS (Twenty Feet Equivalent units).
Francoudi & Stephanou Ltd has been representing the company’s interest in Cyprus since the merger January 1997, offering to the local trade new and innovative services.
