In this year's first quarter, the total full TEU liftings of P&O Nedlloyd Container Line were up 11% as compared to the first three months of 2002. More importantly, average revenue per TEU was also higher: more than 4% (and 3% over the last quarter of last year). Although the net result improved by almost 18% (against 1/2002) it still is a considerable loss of USD 69 mn, as yet a bit spoiling the positive trend.
